Just realized I haven't posted any of my runs for this week on here yet! So here goes...
Monday: I ran 4.57 miles while traveling for work. Really I was just running based on a time goal of 45 minutes, so I just took a meandering course around to explore while I ran.
Tuesday: I ran the same route from Monday, trying to do it faster. But I was also running to meet my time requirement of 45 minutes. Since I did the route faster, I had to add a little extra "meandering" at the end, did about 4.65 miles.
Thursday: Early morning run back at home. Since I was back on familiar turf I went faster, covering 5 miles in 45 minutes.
Saturday: We had a step back week after last week's 18 miler, just 12 miles on the schedule today. It's kind of funny when your mother-in-law asks you "Do you have a long run this weekend?" (Yes... every weekend!) and you respond, "Nah, it's just 12 this time." Then she snorts in disgust at the thought of running 12 miles and referring to it as a "just" distance.
